O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a eficiência dos índices FMA, Telicyn, Nesterov, P-EVAP e EVAP/P para a previsão de incêndios florestais em Juiz de Fora, definir a estação normal do fogo, definir o melhor horário de coleta dos dados e período de maior eficiência dos índices. De acordo com os resultados, a estação normal do fogo ficou caracterizada como o período compreendido entre os meses de junho à outubro. Observou-se a maior eficiência dos dados quando coletados às 15:00 horas e o índice EVAP/P como o mais eficiente quando utilizado durante o ano inteiro.

The objective of this work is to analyze the effi ciency of the indexes FMA, Telicyn, Nesterov, P-EVAP and EVAP/P for the forecast of forest fi re in Juiz de Fora, with defi nition of the normal station of the fi re, the best schedule of collection of the data and period of larger effi ciency of the index. In agreement with the results, the normal station of the fi re was characterized as the period from the months of June up to October. The largest effi ciency of the data was observed when collected to the 15:00 hours and the index EVAP/P as the most effi cient when used during the whole year.
